In August of 2017, we obtained a judgment and received payment on our client’s behalf against the City of Philadelphia. The City took 3 vacant properties from our client, a real estate investor, by eminent domain and offered our client less than $10,000 for each. After an arbitration hearing with expert witnesses on both sides, we were able to get our client more than 10 times what the city initially offered our client for the same properties before we entered our appearance. The city was also responsible for paying all of our client’s attorney’s fees and costs.
