Biography

Oleg Sokolov is the founder and Managing Partner of RS Law Group, a Philadelphia-based firm focused on delivering strategic, results-driven legal representation in commercial real estate and business matters. Before establishing RS Law Group, Oleg led Sokolov Law, P.C., where he built a strong reputation representing property owners, developers, and business entities across the region. Earlier in his career, Oleg worked with several financial institutions, concentrating on real estate investment and development, and also founded a real estate advisory firm that was acquired in 2011.

Today, Oleg’s practice centers on commercial transactions, land use and zoning, and complex commercial litigation. He represents buyers and sellers of real estate and companies in high-value transactions and has successfully obtained entitlements and variances for more than 1,000,000 square feet of real estate throughout Philadelphia. In the courtroom, Oleg focuses on sophisticated commercial trial work and has won over 24 trials during his career. His ability to navigate both transactional and litigation matters allows him to offer comprehensive, strategic guidance to clients at every stage of their business and real estate ventures.

Born in Kiev, Ukraine and raised in Moscow before moving to Philadelphia, Oleg is fluent in Russian and Spanish. He earned his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, FL and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Oleg has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2023–2025), an honor awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys.

Community & Interests: Outside of his legal practice, Oleg is an avid golfer and a passionate Philadelphia sports fan. He prioritizes time with his family and is an active member of the Jewish Federation. He also supports several charitable organizations focused on providing aid to Ukraine.
